Riverbend Lodge at Overland Trail Ranch is located in a quiet corner of south-central Wyoming, surrounded by inspiring views of the North Platte River valley, snow-capped peaks and numerous wildlife species. Once a one-of-a-kind private Western estate, the property has been carefully remodeled and reimagined as an ideal destination for corporate retreats, team meetings and other groups wishing to experience a taste of the wilderness with the traditions of the Mountain West.
With unparalleled private access to the North Platte River, Riverbend Lodge is the perfect place to host a summer fishing or floating trip, whether just for a few hours or from dawn to dusk. The stretch of river within the ranch boundaries does not get fished extensively and is unique in its privacy and solitude, a feature made possible by very limited public access. Experienced fishing guides are available to assure the safety and success of each expedition. Rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout inhabit all parts of the river, and fly or lure fishing is excellent from drift boats or wading.
Upland game birds and waterfowl also are common on the Overland Trail Ranch. Riverbend Lodge has its own highly trained hunting dogs to accompany guests and guides on their fall excursions, and the property includes an on-site outdoor shooting range. Groups may also enjoy golf at the Old Baldy Club, horseback riding, float trips and hiking in the nearby Medicine Bow National Forest.
